Before and After— Frenchy Grey Buffet

I’m not usually drawn to frenchy styles. But this one fell into my lap at the right time and I thought, why not? I felt very challenged on how I was going to turn this style into my own. I thought about so many options, she was almost painted a very pretty pastel orange…which I promise is coming soon. But again it always seems to go back to the details for me. I had these knobs and paper to match and I even had a matching milk paint in my stock. The design just fell in place.

…..and here’s the before….

The bottom detail was done with a custom mix of aqua milk paint and sealed with a dark wax. Up close its so pretty, almost like water colors. I think I might start planning a whole piece in this shade, I love it.
